Dare to Tell is a program that facilitates the creation of Story Connections based on Story Circles. Each Story Circle collaborates in researching, writing, learning and sharing about some unknown aspects of a local indigenous culture or issue of common interest.
Connectors seek to use the power of nostalgic storytelling in helping other connectors learn some long lost values, skills or ways of life that have been lost due to civilization, migrations or rapid transformation of society.
Gideon For-mukwai is an award-winning speaker, educator and corporate trainer. His neuro-narrative approach to conceiving and delivering challenging concepts and ideas has earned him a fervent following in Asia, Middle East and America. He is consistently ranked amongst the best in his field; for this, he is extremely honored and privileged.
Research and share
At every Connection, three members are chosen to research and share based on a topic of common interest to members. Story Circle connections begin with members “Chiming” on the topic what’s going on in your world?
After chiming, the three connectors are then introduced to the stage and they take turns in sharing, first starting with 10 fascinating facts about their research. Each presenter is given 7 minutes to present and 5 minutes maximum to take questions.
